Little or Big? is a documentary short consisting of a series of life questions posed to children ages four to six. During our interview sessions we asked a number of children, from diverse backgrounds, questions revolving around how they view themselves and their relation to the world.
Kids ages four to six are sometimes said to be at the "play age" - a wonderful transition time when most children learn about friendship, self-grooming, self-identity, and concepts like sharing and negotiation. Fantasy and dreams often play a prominent role in the inner-lives of kids at this age.
Hearing the children's uninhibited thoughts on a variety of topics proved to be an illuminating and fascinating undertaking. The filming left us all thinking about the wisdom to be gained from the kid's unique perspective on life.
